Amazing I never knew what a tune could do to a engine this was the best money spent on my Jeep he is super helpful and knows exactly what he doing in every aspect of the tune he could see issues I hadn’t even told him about. I wouldn’t hesitate to use his services ever he is top notch and I will definitely tell anyone needing help with a tune about him. If your on the fence about paying for a remote tune you won’t regret using this company.

Rodney Adams at RAD PERFORMANCE is the most knowledgeable guy when it comes down to turbocharging your classic VW. The thing that sets him apart from the others is not only the great kits he sells but the personal support he gives you in setting up your turbo system to maximize your cars potential. Admittedly my car was a bit of a challenge to setup being I'm above 5280 feet in altitude. He had me send back the metering block portion of the carb so that he could re configure it for the higher altitude. Once re-installed on the carb, the car ran perfectly. Speaking from experience, most places pretty much tell you to figure it out on your own once you get any aftermarket performance part for your car but his level of knowledge and help was above and beyond to get me running right. He even checked up on me more than a few times even after everything was setup just to make sure things were still good. I can't say enough good things about this guy and his shop so if you are looking to go fast in your classic VW, you will not be disappointed going with his turbo kits.

I started going to RADesign to jet and tune my carbs on my 1915. The service level was great and Rodney had all the correct answer and show a level of expert service. Since then I had Rodney build me a 2276 long block for my Ghia. Now he is building me a new 1915 turnkey for my Baja. I also had Rodney customize my header on my Ghia. Rodney stands behind his work and has help tune my engines to get the most reliability out of my engines. He does not sell something that you do not need to make the sell.

RAD is coming out with new performance products for the VW aircooled world. Rodney can help you with any build from stock to a full turbo EFI build on e85. With his knowledge from tuning, custom fabrication, and engine builds you can bet you’re in good hands. I love all the custom fabrication from RAD. The headers and intakes are truly amazing work, nothing from what I have seen in the VW world. I look forward in trying more products and excited to see what future products get developed.
